"Most users ever..."

Post by jam » Fri Jun 02, 2006 3:00 am

All right, guys! Let's see if we can arrive at a suitable date and time for this. The poll is set to run for seven days, so please cast your votes before Friday next week!

In view of the fact that most of us are located in Europe and the U.S. I am proposing the following time options:

- Sunday, 11 June 2006, 21:30:00 Birmingham time
- Monday, 12 June 2006, 21:30:00 Birmingham time
- Tuesday, 13 June 2006, 21:30:00 Birmingham time

Check your local time by clicking any of the links above. Please vote for the time you prefer...

(A note to our 'Guest' users: Even though only registered users can post and vote here you are of course more than welcome to visit the forum at the time to be agreed here, seeing that every visitor will count.)

Have a nice weekend, everyone! 8)

... but wait just a minute..! Is that Birmingham, Alabama or Birmingham, UK...?? :o

I voted for Monday. Found the digits of that date nice: 2006-06-12. But like Per, if the votes should fall out any other way that's fine by me too.
... and out!

Yeah, I thought about "June 5, 7:05" for a while, but it got too close.

P.S. Rito, why doesn't quoting work properly for me?

Sunday best for me. Close on the other days but will try.
Can we IM while we're on? 8)
With everyone on at once we won't start a fire or blow up Rito's gear will we? :)
Thanks for doing the heavy lifting on this jam. 8)

I seem to have seen somewhere that there is a chat module for the software that runs this place, but I don't know if Rito has it installed.

Ah... I will have to change my vote to Monday or Tuesday! I just realised we have guests on Sunday so I would probably forget it then.

Jakob can't quote... Highly amusing...!

:?: Let's do both :!: We'll get two chances to break the record. I'm 99% Sunday and 90% good for Monday. I'll be here anyway. Darn it I'll even try for Wednesday. :)

I put links to time conversions in my original post, however, I'm surprised to see that Columbus is not in there. I assume you're in the same time zone as Detroit and Indianapolis - that makes it 4:30 p.m. for you.

I voted for Sunday because I know I can be there on that day, however Im still lost on the time. Youngstown is in the same time zone as Detroit, but one hour ahead of Indy.

This link may sort you out.

Funny about Indy, according to www.timeanddate.com it's the same time as Columbus and Detroit - five hours behind Birmingham, UK. DST maybe...?
