Hi all,
I recently had problems with my wireless internet connection continuously dropping every 3 or so minutes. After much investigation, firmware upgrading, driver upgrading etc etc, I uninstalled Win XP service pack 3 and - hey presto - everything back to normal.
From further internet searching, this seems to be a common problem.
Just wanted to pass this on in case anyone else was having the same trouble.

Re: Windows XP SP3 - Wireless internet connection dropping
Apologies to windows, the roll-back of SP3 only solved the issue temporarily. After much more diagnosis, the problem appears to be with either my router or my USB adaptor...

Changed the channel on my router yesterday - I've had no trouble since. Hopefully that's not coincidence...http://xkcd.com/627/... this sums it up. Except I forgot to stop after 30 mins...
