Flickr Map - Does it crash?

Post by PerG » Thu Feb 22, 2007 4:38 pm

Flickr is one of the coolest photo sites on the net if you ask me (and why shouldn't you  )! They have added a possibility to put your photos on a world map similar to Google Map. So I thought I'd try it out and added a few of my pics. But this new feature crashes a lot for me both in Internet Explorer ver 6 and 7. Is it the same for you?

Check it out at:

Thanks for the feedback!

For me, it crashes on the first load and I get a blank page. When I then do a refresh, it usually works fine.

Wow... this is a cool site! It follows the pictures on Flickr Map live as they are added! Check it out!

It crashed for me at first, accessing the link below resulted in an error message box saying "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://www.flickr.com/photos/pg63/map/. After that I got an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error page in the browser.

When I tried to access it again everything worked fine - seemingly.

Hey, your picture of "Alvastra kloster" has album cover quality!
