Hey Lily! :D

I guess this means that you're playing the album "Arrival" and I just wanted to add that that is an excellent long player - one of Abba's very best overall ... in my humble opinion, anyway!

...With some of the fairly metallic bands you refer to on your MySpace page and now Abba to go with it, I must admit I'm curious to see what favourites you'll come up with regards to City Boy!

Saying welcome with the above,
Geir :D

PS: Speaking of metallic, do you know Mike Slamer's post-City Boy project, Steelhouse Lane?
...Anyone for tennis? (Or was it Dennis?)

Hi Geir!! The album I have with ABBA's music is called ABBA's Gold: Greatest Hits. It has a lot of great songs, as the name of the album implies, of course. Among them are: Dancing Queen, Fernando, Chiquitita, Knowin Me Knowing You, Money Money, Super Trooper....and many more super nice ones....It is one of my favorite Albums in my Library.

About what I will come out liking best from the City Boy songs....I am also curious myself to find that out.

I am still listening to all the CB songs and I was trying to rate them from 1-5, applying stars to each song, depending on the level of how much they moved me to dance.... 8)
So far....I have not had any of them rated below 4.....I have placed 5 on the ones that I was immediately moved by them since the beginning till the end of the song. One of those was "Moonlight". I also liked "The Hop-Ki Do Kid"....I could see what you said about the Metal influence there.....Really cool!!! And...of course, one that I immediately found myself liking a lot was 5.7.0.5.....I didn't even know what the name of that song was while I was listening to it, and I liked it so much, I went to check it out and it made me laugh, because Al and Sneaky had been talking about that number....hehe.

Anyway....I have not had the chance to finish my evaluation yet, but out of 12 songs that I have examined closely, so far I have liked them all. I guess 5000 Years was a bit slow for me, but not that I did not like it, just that I have to be in the right mood to enjoy it fully.

About Mike Slamer and Steelhouse Lane, I did not know about it....After you mentioned it, I searched for Steelhouse Lane and I found a few samples of their music.....It is a bit more in the Metal genre....Isn't?
I really love music and lots of varieties of them. The only kind I have found not of my liking are the same exact ones that Leo has also found not of his own liking.....hahaha!!! It is actually true...... :P

Thank you for the welcome Geir...It has really been a pleasure being here. You are all great!!! :D :!:

Leo.........CAN'T STAND OZZY...........!!! I can't believe my ears, ( or eyes ). I really think you'll find the majority of those asked, (& i don't just mean here), would say exactly the opposite as regards Dio vs Ozzy. Personally, i won't even contemplate anything without Ozzy, however good it may be................
just isn't Sabbath to my mind, and a lot of other people too.[/b]
Stone me what a life.
