There must be some. I remember someone writing about the former CB road manager or a roadie who has/had a collection of stuff. I think there were also some live video recordings mentioned. As far as I remember we never heard again from the guy.

Does anyone remember what I am talking/writing about? The CB boards have been online for almost ten years, and some discussions got lost, because I made lousy backups |:

I have got a video-DVD with a.o. a LIVE performance of The Hap-Ki-Do Kid in the BBC studios; it's from the days that bands were supposed to play live in Top of the Pops. Got it on video-tape from a guy in Scotland several years ago and have transferred it to video-DVD recently.
Also the tv appearance of Max Thomas in 2002 is on the DVD.
I could send a copy of the DVD to Thomas for conversion to computer/internet format and inclusion in the vault. Thomas please send me a PM with your address if you think this is a good idea. :)

Wow! That would be interesting! Great info, thanks! A Youtube copy would be nice too... You know, to tell the world...! (I can do that upload if Thomas just puts it in the vault first.)

El Presidente had to stay very close to, ahem, toilets for quite a while and could not come to the computer. Sorry for not being available earlier...
There's a really nasty virus going around here. Just be glad, that you're all far away from Austria.

Anyway - I just answered the PM and I would gladly host the DVD's content, of course :)

Perhaps because people find it difficult to handle the directory and don't know how to open the files...
and that includes me I'm afraid... |:

ps. of course no objections from my side re. publication of Hap-Ki-Do Kid on youtube. The more CB in cyberspace, the better !
Actually, I am quite convinced that this is the footage that Max talks about in the first paragraph of this story :

You're probably right, the files needs to be burned to a DVD.

Short instruction: If you have a DVD writer you would need to make a new "DVD Video" (or similar) disc in your DVD writer software and then drop all these files in the VIDEO_TS folder. Then burn the disc. That's all there is too it.

You can also watch the video at your PC. To do so, you simply have to open the VTS_01_1.VOB file (the big one) with Windows Media Player, or another video player, like VLC video player for example.

Also I'd like to say thanks for making this available.

Greetings
