Live Stuff

Post by headrock » Thu Nov 02, 2006 6:22 pm

A big thank you for all of this. I have the b sides etc but the only live stuff I had was a few bits from winmx many moons ago. I thank you.

If any of you three want anything in return and I can help, please ask!!!!

Rito - particularly XTC stuff, I have tons of it.

Don.

I just started downloading some FLAC's. All I knew so far was a MP3 version of the Boston Paradise 78 show. I'm very curious how this remastered version sounds compared to my old one.

Many thanks to all here involved in remastering and hosting the files. Your efforts are highly appreciated.

One thing though: I'm always looking to give those live shows a nice home and need some artwork for them. Can anybody of you good guys out there help me out?

Thanks in advance
Joerg

You will probably have found out in the meantime that flac files are listenable. For example, Winamp has a flac plugin that lets you play the files on your pc without converting them. However, if you want to burn them as an audio CD-R you have to convert the files into WAV format first.

What is the matter with the vault? The site seems to be not available right now!

Works for me just now. A little slow to start at first but then it was no problem.

There are no FLAC files for the Montreal show, only MP3. Could somebody please upload them?

Many thanks in advance

I recall Stefan P made a cd cover for the City Boy 1978 Chicago live recording which was remastered a few years ago.

Does anyone know if and where this cd cover is still available for downloading?

Hi All!

Sorry for not reacting earlier, but somehow I missed the new posts on this thread.

Anyway, the Montreal FLAC files are going up as I am writing this. So, they will be available in a few minutes for you :)

You can get them here: http://xchange.cityboy.org/live/montrea ... 78_-_flac/

I'm sure I had Stefan's cover somewhere - but I simply cannot find it anymore. Could someone please send it to me via email, so I can make them availlable at xchange.

Anything else you would like to have/see/make available there?

Headrock: You wrote about XTC!! I also have tons of stuff, maybe we could exchange some :)
