The opener "The Day The Earth Caught Fire" is my 1st and obvious choice, with a tie for 2nd going to:
Ambition, Interrupted Love Affair & Machines (in that order).

What a GREAT album !!!!!

Easy for me... "Dangerous Ground" is a great and memorable song, a classic !

"Summer In The Schoolyard" or "Cigarettes" might've been a 2nd choice, but as most of us agree, this album has no low point. Every song is a winner.

I think it's a great idea to add a file on the CD-R with a booklet ready for printing. Cover and U-Card too.

It would probably be OK to have it available in an e-mail format to send out to each of us if that's the easier way...

I'm looking forward to the final product !!

Here's an excerpt from an article about Alan Parsons career in general... Very informative. The name change was basically due to a legal issue between AP and Eric Woolfson, I suppose... perhaps involving Arista. Read on: from: m " The Alan Parsons Project released several more albums in the 198...

"Millionaire" without a doubt !! This is that song I would pull out the album for... It's on many of my early compilations, usually the closing track (on side A of a cassette - leaving The End Came Easy for side B. Good memories - a friend of mine found his LP at a used record shop in '79 ...

. "Turn of a Friendly Card" was one of my favorites, as was most of what APP has put out. I love the way the french horns and slight orchestration is added - the production is top notch, too. (these older CD's are now being remastered). I have made a number of compilations of APP... but re...

Sorry all... I guess I was alone on the idea of getting the 2nd CD started. I suppose it makes better sense to wait until #1 is completed before starting the 2nd one, especially since in a some cases the 2nd disc may arrive before the 1st one, depending on the order. It's just that I've got too much...

I have a few friends that have greatly influenced my path in musical tastes. I owe them for it (and repay it by trying to keep in touch and passing on new finds such as Spock's Beard or A.C.T). It's not often that we have time to get together, but even as many years pass, it still seems as though ti...
