Re: R.I.P. Lol Mason

:(
Great singer and fabulous lyricist.
I always wondered if he knew how much his work is appreciated still today by a bunch of loyal fans, as he never appeared online here on the forum, or on facebook.

Re: Great interview to Jerry Sahlin (A.C.T)

It’s all open source information, Sebastian :-)
I am also a member of the A.C.T facebook group, so that’s where I got it from.
In fact, I think we “discovered” the article independant of each other...

Re: Cats in Space third album out!

Just listened to the Day Trip to Narnia album... really good... very good... Besides City Boy I also hear traces of Charlie, Queen, a lot of A.C.T, and even some Uriah Heep in the final epic track about Johnny Rocket... I will surely play this album more, and also check out their other albums. :chee...

The article mentions a Derek Bishton, too. Didn’t he co-write The Man Who Ate His Car?
Derek Bishton wrote the lyrics of the song. If I remember well, he is or was a friend of Max.
Could indeed be very well the same person as mentioned in the article.

Re: Does this song sound familiar?

If I remember well, one of the band members once mentioned that Haymaking Time originates from a few years before it was released on the first City Boy album... they already played an early version of the song in the clubs they toured as a four-piece (without Roger and Mike), with the bandname Back ...
