The George Michael film broadcast recently in the UK has George talking about his battle with Sony. I fully understand his issues and sometimes, the record companies simply won't listen or see reason. In the case of George Michael, he lost the battle (in court) but Sony ultimately lost him as an art...

Re: Talk of a reformation of City Boy

I suspect that what appears in your side bar relates to previous searches and videos watched.
Non of the members of the band look like what I might expect any City Boy members to look like these days.

He was one of those artists not much known outside of Australia yet in that country, he left a huge impression. RIP.

Re: RIP Keith Emerson

What a 6 months we've had - too many deaths.
Apparently, according to some reports, Keith Emerson had recently been diagnosed with a degenerative nerve condition. If that were affecting his hands, he must have felt helpless and playing was obviously his reason for living. Terribly sad.

Re: Hello strangers

I'm pleased that so many of you are still around - I guess to some degree, our questions have largely been answered, new music discovered and other things in life seem to get in the way of frequenting message boards! I have aged by ten years of course and really should update my profile pic to show ...

Hello strangers

I haven't been on here for years but thought I'd drop by and say hello to anyone who remembers me! I was pretty active back in 2005 (TEN years ago!) when I hosted the 5-7-05 get-together at my previous home in Birmingham!!! Anyway, I hope everyone is well and I was pleased to read that there's to be...
